Kool and The Gang co-founder Dennis “Dee Tee” Thomas has died at the age of 70.
Thomas died peacefully in his sleep on Saturday in New Jersey where he lived.
He was the alto saxophone player, flutist, percussionist as well as master of ceremonies at the band’s shows.
Thomas won two Grammy Awards and seven American Music Awards for his work with Kool and The Gang.
**Ronald Bell died Sept. 9, 2020, at home in the U.S. Virgin Islands at age 68.
